    Wren Faire and Open House

    The next School Site Council Meeting will be held on

    Tuesday, March 26th at 3:00 pm

    in Room 1.

    Agenda items include the proposed bell schedule for the 2019-2020 school year and the upcoming Wren Faire/Open House on April 16.

    Come give your input to the council regarding priorities for students and the school.

    All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

    5th Annual Talent Show

     

     

    If you are interested in participating, please plan an act (3 minutes or less), practice your performance, and SIGN UP on the clipboard in the office by March 28th. 

     

    Auditions will be held after school on

    Wednesday, April 10th from 1-2pm in room 5. 

     

    The talent show will take place on the evening of May 21.

    Arts Magnet School program attributes


    Wren Avenue Elementary: School of the Arts is the MDUSD visual and performing arts magnet school. We are creating a collaborative community that builds upon skills students will need as they prepare for colleges and careers.

    Wren Avenue Elementary: School of the Arts is developing an integrated MDUSD regional arts magnet program comprised of high academic expectations through common core standards via the visual or performing arts. The purpose is to provide an artistic avenue for students to fulfill their academic requirements, and to provide them with intensive in-depth training in their arts, English language development, math, and the use of technology.

    Parent and community involvement is highly encouraged. Parents are invited to participate in all aspects of the program.
